My post was clear. The "small 'c' communist" reference was to Ayers and it is how he describes himself. Ditto for the terrorist reference. Ayers has admitted to a series of bombings and shown no regrets for his terrorist past.

 

Closely aligned means closely aligned. Obama administered a program that Ayers founded whose goal was to radicalize Chicago school children. Obama helped distribute millions of dollars to meet the objectives outlined by Ayers. There was no evidence that the expenditures improved the quality of the schools affected by the cash outlays.

 

So the real reason I should be concerned about Obama's association with Ayers has nothing to so with Ayer's communist nature or admitted terrorist activity? You ignored questions posed to you by both myself and UKPat02 as to whether you felt that Obama was a terrorist. I will assume that answer is "no" then.

I have posted facts to back up that assertion. So far, none of those facts have been refuted. Obama deliberately attempted to mislead the public about his relationship with Ayers.

I agree. I think it is kind of a "mob effect", everyone can unite against an enemy that isn't them. Toby Keith can write songs, people can sing along, feel good that they have an enemy.

 

I support the war, but it gets kinda hard when I know it has created a lot of bigotry towards people of a certain ethnicity/religion that I have found to be extremely good and honest folk.

Associating with known terrorists and then lying about the nature of the association is cause for great concern to me. You are obviously not concerned about it and should vote accordingly. Your questions are irrelevant. Ayers is an unrepentant terrorist and Obama had a close relationship with him before he decided to run for president. Those are the stubborn facts.

 

Why did Obama lie about the nature of his relationship with Ayers if their association is no problem? Obama's trustworthiness is the issue being raised by McCain and Palin and the disconnect between Obama's words and reality are causing some panic within the Obama campaign.
