I admire the schools most that let the coaches and captains pump of the team... music on the PA is sooo high school!

After tonight's game, Holmes should not play any music over the PA until they replace their speakers. The poor cheerleaders had to dance to a routine at half, and the speakers didn't do them justice. They played some "bitter sweet symphony" and it sounded like someone was farting to the beat.

The speakers at Newport Stadium need to be replaced. When I saw Whitle County beat Newport this season, I was wishing I would have brought a set of ear plugs due to all of the extra noise coming from the speakers. Plus they tried to play the music too loud. You should know your system before you decide to pump up the volume.

I think it takes a good speaker system and a good selections of music. I enjoy thunderstruck, welcome to the jungle, etc. I also like just good stadium music and funny quotes that may add to the atmosphere during the game. As for the band, I think the old school bands are there for the football teams, but I feel like the bands, dance teams, and cheerleaders of today are there for their own show. A lot of times they don't even pay attention to the games. Last week our QB fumbled on 4th down and as he walked off the field the band started playing. What? My feeling is that every one should be there to support the football team. But thats just me sorry I got off topic. I think music really helps.

I totally agree. I can think of three that has great music and the sound systems were outstanding: Madison Southern, Whitley County and Lincoln County.

The other schools are okay but when we went to Lincoln Co their sound system did alot of skipping.
