Moms are so special and I'm sad for the family, but there is a peace that comes also....and I ask for this peace. Amen

Sad to here that. I know that her mother is watching down on her now.

Amen.

oh, I am so sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to RK and her family.

RK, I believe I am one of many that can say that you have been a blessing to all of us on here. You never fail to reply to anyone in need/prayer thread. I can tell by your writings about your mother over all of this time that she was a wondefurl lady as you are.

May God Bless you and your family.

Do you want to hear about a true blessing? 41 years ago my mom helped out as a teacher's aide in Head Start. At that time it only lasted about 3 months or so. There was this little boy in her class that was not up to the same standards (mentally) as the other kids. His name was Dale and he was a darling little boy. He couldn't call Mom by her name...so he called her Miss Hippy. Mom thought that was the neatest thing. Well as luck would have it Mom only knew him for those few months but she talked about him often.

Sunday night ast Mom's visitation my brother told me that this young man was there and would I talk to him. I went over to him and he wouldn't look at you while he talked but here's what he told me. "I told my sunday school teacher that I saw in the paper where Miss Hippy had died." "I told her that I wanted to come here tonight to tell her goodbye." "I loved Miss Hippy and I thought about her a lot. " I can't even begin to tell you how much this touched my heart. Not only did I think the world of my Mom, this young man never stopped thinking of her either.

RK - I heard this touching story last night, from RTS. It's just one of those little miracles from heaven that let you know someone up there is thinking of you.

By the way, he told me that story while I was waiting for my salad to arrive at a restaurant.

And no RTS, I dd not eat my salad. :p

Such a touching story , I know you will remember and cherish forever.;)

Very touching story RK. I cannot hardly find anything else to say but...wow. I know that you will cherish those words from him forever.
