Well my Xbox was supposed to be here between 2-5 today but still haven't seen it. Called UPS and they said they have to make at least one attempt to deliver every package, so hopefully I'll get it soon.

 

I want you to know that since you started this thread two xbox's have broken. Sportsfan41 and mine:fight::fight::fight::fight: I got something that kept popping up that said unplayable disk for every game that I put in. I was making fun of sportsfan last night and today comes and my xbox is broken! Oh the irony:cry: All I can say is that it better be back in time for GoW2 if not microsoft will have one angry customer.

Well I got my xbox back..Runs a lot quieter now...First game back playing Gears and my team won. I had like 16 kills or something...

 

Ha this is sad but I'm actually excited for mine to sound normal again.

Then you better hope you can fix it every time, because I know for a fact if you tamper with anything on the inside of the Xbox and you try to send it in to them for repair they'll send it right back to you and say sorry. So I hope it doesn't mess up anymore because if it does then you're hurting.

 

 

Not worried about it needing fixing again, and if it did, I am used to opening stuff up and fixing it if needed. At the time MS was not being as generous on repairs and as I said his kids had already tampered with it. So for about 6 dollars in parts it was fixed and everyone is happy...

Mine actually ruined 2 copies of COD4.

I've had nothing but trouble from 360's, I've been through 3 of them.

Has anyone else got this before on their xbox? I've had mine since Christmas of 06 and never had any troubles, over the last month I've had problems with games freezing, ended up finally dying last week. Called Microsoft and they emailed me a UPS label in like an hour, after that I mailed it out and they received it on Friday and I just got notification that I'll be receiving a new xbox 360 and it was mailed out tonight. Hopefully will have it by the weekend. The new one is under warranty until next July. Great and fast service by Microsoft on this. :dancingpa:dancingpa

Thats what happened to me Monday, and my xbox kept saying unplayable disk. I called MS and they said that it is very common and you will have to send it in.

BTW SV after they received your 360 how long would you say it took for them to get it sent on it's way back to you?

 

They got it on a friday and had shipped it out by either tuesday or wednesday and it arrived at my house on that same friday,
