October 3, 200817 yr There isn't a UPS store in Morehead. It says, according to UPS that the closest UPS store is in Winchestor. Have you called. I would atleast give them a call and see if there's anything that can be done, plus they may deliver in your area on Saturdays. Worth checking into.
October 4, 200817 yr FYI, My firends got the 3RROD a while back. He had it for over the warranty period and and his kids had attempted to open it, so I took a stab at it. It was a PITA but eventually I managed to fix it. The problem is just porr design and bad contact to the heatsink and the processor. I read several direction on the internet and took the heatsink off and made a new clamp that kept the motherboard flatter and the heat sink evenly on the processor. This was many months ago and as far as I know it was still working for him.

Then you better hope you can fix it every time, because I know for a fact if you tamper with anything on the inside of the Xbox and you try to send it in to them for repair they'll send it right back to you and say sorry. So I hope it doesn't mess up anymore because if it does then you're hurting.

October 6, 200817 yr Really am not too frustrated because I knew it was going to happen. Plus I have two midterms coming up soon, this will help to keep me from being distracted. Really I just want to get the process started.

Yeah, hopefully they'll send you a newer one...Everyone says the replacement ones they send you play a lot quieter and have a new chip in them so it runs a lot smoother...I dunno though.

Mine probably started about a month before it gave out. I dunno, hopefully this one will be ok for a while, I can't wait for Gears and I'm probably getting the new Guitar Hero.

October 6, 200817 yr Author Well my Xbox was supposed to be here between 2-5 today but still haven't seen it. Called UPS and they said they have to make at least one attempt to deliver every package, so hopefully I'll get it soon.
