So are you making any predictions? Are they a cod lock for the state championship?

I dont believe they are a lock for a championship.I do believe they have to be one of the favorites.

Do you think if they dont win state championship it is a huge choke job? I dont think so.

I feel his impact on the team is a bit overrated.

I never said it would be, someone else posted that. I was just wondering if you were going to make any predictions?

Not sure about overrated but I think without question he creates a lot of problems for the D when he is hitting from the outside. Obviously he is not 100% but I have never seen anyone that is but he is for sure better than 50% most of the time. I think Scott Co. will tap his shoulder often during the season.

There is no doubt that Scott County has a great program. That is easily helped by impact players "moving" into the district on a regular basis. Why shouldn't the KHSAA raise their eyebrow and question it. This is what they have been assigned with. Otherwise certain districts would "reload" on a seasonal basis.

I think they do anyway,at least every other year.:irked:

Of course they do!! I just find it rather insulting when the districts involved in "transfer controversy" on a more than one occasion want to whine and complain that they are targets for the KHSAA. I'm sure every year familes uproot and sell their homes and seek new employment so that their child can participate in a "great" basketball program. The KHSAA may be forced to believe the circumstances, but I will still feel free to question the true validity.

As long as the actual school is not involved in recruiting I really don't see a problem with it. Families are making decisions they believe are best for their families.

Question away!:thumb:

Is Cod lock short for Cold Hard lock?

There is no doubt that Scott County has a great program.

I agree that they do have a great program and prove it year in year out.

This may be a bit off thread topic, but it also takes money to have a great program. Well funded programs typically have great coaching and great facilities. Scott County has all of the above.

I have said before that whoever came up with the Toyota ticket fundraiser (car raffle) should be thanked for much of Scott County's success, because they have booster clubs from other schools all over the state working for them, selling tickets. What a great idea to get your competitors to help you raise money. Someone in Scott County is a genius.

I'm just saying...if it looks, walks and quacks like a duck ......well......;)

There should be no problem, if the actual school is not involved directly or indirectly. However.....it does go on. I wonder how easy it will be for families to make the best decisions for their families with the given economy. Houses aren't flying off the market and jobs are not readily available for the picking.

Who cares! They should just let kids play where they want and transfer when they want. This way every school is on the same playing field. Instead of letting KHSAA continue to embarass themselves. Just let them play where they wish.

I agree, and they should also allow recruiting. All would have to better their programs.
