Alabama 41 Georgia 30

Featured Replies

I thought Alabama's first half beating of Georgia on the road was far more shocking or stunning then Florida or USC's loss.

Just unbelievable how badly they beat them up those first 30 minutes. You give Georgia credit for getting off the mat, but where was that effort from minute 1.

Alabama Larry, you was right, I apologize.

I agree, the first half Bama was making a huge statement to the College Football World. Georgia did get off the mat, but how much was that Bama relaxing a little? I'm sure Coach Saban is very happy with the win, but you can believe he wasn't happy with getting out scored 30-10 in the 2nd half and I bet ya a milk shake he let his Team know it. Will Georgia break out the black jersey's again anytime soon? BTW...Julio Jones is a stud.

Going into the game I thought that if Bama won it would be because of their offense being too much for Georgia, I figured GA wouldn't be able to put up more than 17-21 on Bama. I figured it'd be like 28-17 Alabama,

I was kinda shocked at how many points both teams put up, but Alabama showed us just how good they are today, very impressive.

If Bama wins out and at least gets to the SEC Championship then thats a pretty good argument for a NCG argument.

By just getting to the SEC championship game, or winning it to? If they run the table and win the SEC championship game then the NCAA might as well mail them the National Championship trophy.

I've been pretty blown away by Bama when I've had a chance to watch them play this year. If I had a vote, not sure how I'd put them at anything but #2 right now...

A very long time yet to go. When are still in September. I posted on our board about this SEC Championship/NC game talk was a bunch of junk.

We do have an experince QB/OL which are playing very well which we expected. But the defense is a very pleasant surprise.

The talk on the Bama Boards is the the fans know Coach Saban will get the players attention about the Cats and the fans also realize we could have out hands full.

Good luck to the Cats.

Right now Bama and Oklahoma are imo by far the most impressive teams in the country. I thought that the Tide was one, maybe two years away from an NC game. They very well could be in it and win it this season.

This one was a pretty big shock. Georgia has a brutal schedule. They could lose a couple more. I am not that surprised Alabama won, just the way they won.

:thumb: Point taken, Georgia did not quit and came out and played hard in the 2nd half. Even with them playing well and scoring quick in the 4th I never got the feeling that they may come all the way back and win it.

31 points is just too much...it's not impossible but very difficult to come from that far back against good team.

I'm like you though, I figured the Tide would let up and Georgia would make a run.

I kept thinking about the game when Florida State erased a 31-3 deficit in the 4th quarter to tie Florida.

Yeah, with their schedule, losing between the hedges is tough.
