What is wrong with the rockets this year? I mean they just do not seem to have the usual sparkle.

Larkey and his way of doing things is gone, and you have alot of new things going on at Rock, and it will take a little while for the new staff to get on their feet.

 

I definitely do not think its a matter of coaching. If you'll remember, The Rock was "off" a little from their usual selves in Larkey's last year. Be patient and good things will come.

The Rockets need to take better care of the football. These kids play as hard as ever and play with heart. They will be okay by playoff time.

Talent level seems to be down. Most programs seem to go through these cycles. Especially smaller rural schools. They are running the same system as Larkey did so Coaching change is not the answer. I think they would be in the same shape (record) if he was still around.

There's nothing wrong with the Rockcastle team or program that a little better ball security wouldn't fix. They've dropped (pun intended) two games in a row to a couple of pretty good programs and could have easily gone one and one. Look for them to get back on track starting this coming week.

I have to agree with that:thumb::thumb: But I see them making a turn around soon I guess we will have to be patient and hope they get their groove back!!!

I have not heard anything about either team.

Rockcastle is down, but they should be able to win a playoff game because the opposite district they will play in the playoffs is not very good.

I'm not sure how many of their younger kids play on varsity and not on JV but they had a tough time moving the ball against Somerset. The Jumpers beat them 32-0 the first game of the year.
