Frankfort wins this one despite not having Weaver and Hall!

This is an important week for Frankfort. They have a lot of kids that are injured and they need a lot of younger kids to step up and fill the holes.

 

FHS will be with out the services of Quan Weaver and Aaron Hall this week, with depth a major issue for the Panthers this game could be a lot closer than some think. Frankfort needs to get a win this week and go into the open with to rest and mend some injuries.

 

IMO, even with the studs out of the lineup for this game, FHS wins easy! Bracken has a player or two among them, but they do not yet play as a team and have not learned to win. FHS would have to sit a lot, I mean a lot, of players to make this an interesting game.

It's probably worth noting that this game was 84-0 last year.

What in the world? Faust is a stand up guy. I hate that for him.

We need to remember Rule 9:

Coach Faust is an A1 person. He will be missed by the team. Don't know what will happen tonight because of the school's bad choice. The whole team is very upset. Good luck to both teams.

Rule 13

Maybe I should have started a new thread but can someone in the know tell me if the rumor is true that coach Faust bought some or alot of the equipment that is being used this year out of his own pocket.

I was at the game last night and seen a totally different Bracken co team. 14 - 6 at the half was the score with Frankfort leading. The Bracken boys were holding their own on defense. They made a stand at the 4 yard line with a minute left in the half to force a turnover on downs. This is not typical Bracken co football. The final score was 43 - 18 I believe but that really doesnt show how this game was played. At the end of the third qtr it was 20 something to 12. Bracken had 3 bad deals with the roughing the kicker deal, the fumble by a sophomore on the return team on the 1 yard line and the last TD the Bears had the guy in the backfield and he slipped away. I am not sure what got into these guys or if Frankfort just had a bad night but the bears made a statement on the field last night. When Frankforts starters are doing grass drills on the field in the middle of a game that pretty much says it all. Hats off to you Polar Bears I was proud of you last night.

I don't want to take anything away from Bracken Co. effort last night. The played hard. The showed heart and kept battling.

 

As for Frankfort, It was the worse they have played all season. Missing 4 starters do to injury or other issues. The night started off bad for the Pantehrs, with the bus breaking down and arriving late to the game. The Panthers ROUTINE was not normal. Plus FHS played a lot of kids out of position early. I did think the Panthers where ever mentally in it last night. They may come back and bite them if they can't regain focus.

 

Hats off to Bracken, I thought they were better than some of the district team FHS has faced.
