Ashland's JV team traveled to Russell this evening. Looked like they pretty much dominated both sides of the ball.

Congrats to the young Tomcats! The future looks bright in Ashland.

Congrats to Ashland

Who are some of the young stars on the JV team? Who took over QB duties since Hunter is now starting for the varsity team?

Congratulations to the young Tomcats!!!

Way to keep this year's domination of Russell going with a convincing win. :ylsuper:

A friend just informed me that 7th grade through Varsity we have outscored Russell 146 - 62 this year. And the freshmen won't play until the Kiwanis Bowl.

Russell has had a very attractive run the last few years. The tide has turned though and the pendulum will continue to swing in another direction…time for a changing of the guard.

I think you're right Painter. :thumb:

The tide has turned ...

Beating Russell always makes me smile but we need to turn the tide against our district teams because beating Russell doesnt get you any closer to the ultimate goal of winning a state championship....

Wow. The future does look bright.

Nice job by the young Cats!!!! Congrats on the W.

The tide has turned? Big words from the TomCat crew.

If you see Russell play this year, you will understand.

This doesn’t mean they have moved to the bottom of the pile. Russell is still Russell, but as far as being like red devil teams over the past few years, let’s just say there is a noticeable difference…and I’m not just referring to their trip to the wood shed last Friday night.

Was the tide ever turned to begin with in this series? I'm pretty sure this series has been pretty evenly matched the last several years?
