The score was LCA 36 Lloyd 29. We need to fix the title.

:scared::scared: WOW!! I hope that he got all of his yards out of his system this week, he may be too tired next week tro run, maybe youn should rest him next week. (somehow I doubt that though).

304 yds!! what a night.

Congrats to the young Mr. Hayden on a great night.

Congrats to L.C.A. on the win :thumb:, we will see you here in "RamLand" next week.

Hayden 27 runs 304 yards 3 tds

3 rec 28 yds

Burdette 4 rec 78 yards

Congratulations to LCA. I am eagerly awaiting Raceland/LCA Friday.

Congrats to the JUGGS on a hard fought game even though you fell a little short.

Most people didn't expect you to be this close and had a chance to win. Keep those same emotions you played with and you should make some noise in 2A.

No Lloyd stats?

WOW, I thought he would have a big night, but 304 is over the top, as good as he played I cant help but think LCA doesnt have the same game as last year. Take the big back out of the passing picture and thier top gun qb through for 44 yds. Lloyd is a game bunch of kids but with this kind of peformance I doubt they will see the Ville this year!

Congrats to LCA on the win. You came through when you had to, & pulled it out. And Dominique - what can you say? Outstanding effort. The D-train would pull several players for 5+ yards on most plays.

For those who couldn't attend, Lloyd had the ball with about 2 minutes to go, down by 7. They moved the ball to first and goal with about 20-30 seconds to go. Lloyd got down to the 5, but on 4th down, LCA broke up the pass in the endzone.

That play was controversial, but I only caught a glimpse of it - I had been focused on the QB. Some thought it was defensive pass interference, while others saw it as offensive pass interference. Regardless, no call was made.

Lloyd played extremely tough. Their offense moved the ball well. Their QB was a good scrambler.

#11 took a blind-side shot that left him motionless for a couple of minutes. Yet, after maybe 10 minutes on the sideline, he went back in to play. Tough kid! (and BTW, GREAT hit by Joey Meehan!)

A couple of plays later, a Lloyd CB came in and put a tremendous shot on LCA's Lucas Witt. The 4th quarter had some of the hardest hitting I have seen all year.

LCA cannot play defense like we have been and expect to win next week at Raceland, or go far into the post season. And it could have been worse: a lot of Lloyd passes were either dropped or were off-target. And on offense penalties were a problem again. I have confidence that these problems will be fixed, I just hope it's by next Friday!!

I met DevJug and Mrs. DevJug. Great people, as well as the several other Lloyd fans that I spoke with.

For the other Lloyd fans, I was the guy in the LCA shirt that was on the Lloyd side of the field. (I do that 'cause I HATE to sit during a football game, and the LCA sideline is fenced off for the cheerleaders.)

Hats off to the Juggs, and good luck this season.

Go Eagles!

What a game! I think most did not expect it to be this close. Lloyd had three seperate oppertunities for 1st and goal during the game and only came up with 3 points. LCA has a fine team but this one could easily have gone the other way. The LCA QB and backs are good. I agree that the last offensive play for Lloyd could have easily been defensive pass interferance. Play like this the rest of the year and Lloyd could make a run the rest of the season.

GREAT game both teams!:dancingpa
