HOMELESS CAMEL Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 (edited) K-State up 7-0 at the end of 1st quarter. Cards come right back after the touchdown with a long 6 minute drive to even the game at 7. Louisville had a 7 minute drive in the 1st quarter that came up with nothing after they didn't get a 4th and short. Kansas St didn't help their cause by fumbling the ball at the Cards 12 in the 1st quarter. Back and forth we go. Edited September 18, 2008 by HOMELESS CAMEL
DragonFire Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Now this is looking a little more like a performance that Card fans can get behind. The last game was against a complete nobody, but Louisville has looked solid in this game. Could be a good sign.
MBWC41 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Louisville looks good tonight. Their receivers look better but are still anything but good. It looks like UL also has the same kicking problems that UK has. 1 missed field goal and 1 missed extra point so far tonight. One side note: Lou Holtz has a real problem with people getting hurt on the field, waiting for the trainers to come out and then getting up and jogging off the field. He's talked about it at least twice tonight. It's kind of funny.
The Scribe Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 What a punt return. Play of the week already
Watusi Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 K States' Murphy just ran an spectacular punt return for a TD. WOW, that was amazing.
MBWC41 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Wow. What a punt return. Anyone else catch that ? That one makes sport centers top 10 plays easily.
MBWC41 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 That reminded me of something you'd see on a video game.
Watusi Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Officially 86 yards, but he was almost tackled back at the 8 before making his move.
Wireman Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Wow. What a punt return. Anyone else catch that ? That one makes sport centers top 10 plays easily. Great play, but they missed a key block in the back.
MBWC41 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Great play, but they missed a key block in the back. If I remember correctly you said you were going to put a little cash on UL tonight. Therefore, your officiating opinions on this game don't count, Wireman
The Scribe Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Second best play of the week right there. Great TD run by Anderson
Wireman Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 If I remember correctly you said you were going to put a little cash on UL tonight. Therefore, your officiating opinions on this game don't count, Wireman  Now that WAS an awesome play!!! :thumb:
Wireman Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Anyone else sick of Lou Holtz tonight? Particularly trashing injured players when they get up and run off the field...
