Am I the only one listening to the game?

I had to take my 4 year old to the doctor this afternoon and I missed all the action! When I left, Samardizjia had just given up 2 runs and intentionally walked Chubby Buddy to load the bases. I came home and turned on Gameday on the Cubs site and saw where it went 12 innings! I can't wait to see the highlights tonight! WOOO HOOOO!!!!!:dancingpa

What more can be said about this team, just unbelievable. :scared:

I'm actually having a hard time getting excited about the win, it's just that amazing. I don't know when it will sink in.

I didn't see the game on TV but that Rudy Huxtable is a card I tell you. Another great afternoon of family programming on WGN. Theo was getting the "I told you so" lecture from Bill Cosby around the time Soto tied it with the HR. Ah, September programming at it's best.

Is it just me or did WGN show 10x more White Sox games when they were making their push about three or four Septembers ago? It kills me that WGN has seldom been showing the Cubies, and during one of their best seasons in franchise history. So aggravating.

But aside from the WGN rant, Magic number is now "3"!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't want to lay the jinx on or anything because we all know how easy it is to do, but 3 wins in two weeks, I think they can pull that.

I fully understand why WGN doesn't carry the number of games they used to because of the new TV deal. But I agree with Dolamite. Their September appearances have seemed few and far between

3 of their last 12 are on WGN

Magic number is 2 btw, not 3....

How can anyone get that wrong, it's been under my picture for the last several weeks.

Not sure what I'm going to change it to when they clinch, I might put the White Sox magic number there, that might go down to the last day of the season.
