I watched SNL for the first time in months just to see this skit.....I loved it. Fey nailed Palin.

Does anyone know what the "word" Hillary said really stands for in the context it was used in the skit. I too googled it but the results were varied and none seemed to fit how it was used in the skit. PM me if you know what it actually means.

FLIRGE - First Lady I'd Rather Get Elected (than sleep with)

That was great! The Sarah Palin was the best imitation I've seen.

One of the best impersonations I've ever seen!!! I really thought it was Sarah Palin when I first started watching SNL. Great job by Tina Fey!

I just saw a show on CNN, and they kept referring to the skit as a spoof on Sarah Palin.

That's fine, but it is EQUALLY a spoof on Hillary.

Why would they mention one, and not the other?

My guess is that the Clinton character has been done several times already. Last night was Tina Fey's first portrayal of Palin. And, of course, a massive conspiracy to ruin conservatives.

The Palin impersonation is one of the all-time best, which is amazing given the short time that she has been a national candidate. In contrast, the Hillary Clinton impersonation needs a lot of work and suffers in comparison.

Absolutely hilarious!

Sorry, guys. The McCain camp disagrees with those opinions. Is there anything they won't whine about? :D

I saw that. How stupid. If I'm McCain's campaign manager, I have Palin go on the air and say how funny the skit was.

Palin thought the skit was funny. She also once dressed as Fey at a Halloween party. Shows a good sense of humor, which I like.

Sounds like Palin and her campaign need to get on the same page, then.

That could be said of both campaigns.

It was in the article you posted:

"Palin, on the other hand, found the sketch amusing, according to her spokesperson. The governor and the press corps watched the sketch in the back of her plane, laughing at Tina and Amy’s satirical take on the two politicians.

“She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween,” Palin spokesperson Tracey Schmitt told CBS.

:thumb: I agree. This isn't the first time- I think part of the initial misunderstanding of the Gravina Bridge thing (or one of the 1,000 controversies) was a statement made my McCain, not Palin.

Wow that looks and sounds just like her.

Yes it does.
