BTW good for Tom Spritzky. Glad to see him bring the boys in ready to play today. I've always thought of him as one of the better "guys" in NKY football.

The defense had 5-6 returning starters from last year's team, and defense was their strength, as the offense struggled.

 

The returning players are obviously not playing up to last year's standards.

 

Did the coaches suddenly forget how to coach????? I hardly think so.

 

I think the players have lost confidence in themselves.....based on their body language.

I don't know who caught it today, but it was fielded cleanly and without incident.

 

I answered the question, then made a comment that you knew who excatly who was on the front line, but didn't know who caught the ball!

 

Robinson was in the second line of players on the field, not on the front line/wall!

Yes, I have an agenda. My agenda is to learn about the unorthodox philosophy of a "hands" team that consists of so many o-linemen. I've never seen so many o-linemen on it. Seems risky - even though it worked. I'm sure Dave B's skin is thick enough to withstand questioning of the philosophy.

 

By the way I do find it interesting that you went from "maybe 1 DL" to now "maybe a couple " of OL.

I think possibly you are right about 2 of your front wall-NOT that they were OL.

All the defensive coaches have multiple years at coaching HS football and 3 played college football.

 

Yes the D-coordinator is strong and yes they are all legit defensive guys.

 

The players are not executing the scheme, which is the same scheme that won the '06 State Championship.

 

The schemes are not the same. I know from experience. If you want to explain I will be happy to.
