September 11, 200818 yr I would receive: Aaron Rodgers, QB Jonathan Stewart, RB Vincent Jackson, WR I would give up: Anquan Boldin, WR Derrick Mason, WR Laurence Maroney, RB At first glance it would appear I'm getting hosed, but my starting QB is Carson Palmer so I feel Rodgers would be an upgrade. I'm giving up some WR depth, which is a concern. Who knows about Maroney? Thoughts? Can't believe you even have to ask...this is a no brainer in my opinion. Mason is over the hill, Boldin will quit on his team midway through the year and Maroney will be hurt soon. Rodgers has the potential and team around him to be a Top 15 fantasy QB. Jackson could finally have his breakout year. Stewart's a rookie who should have a pretty productive second half. You're essentially trading 1(Bouldin) for 3 players that could help you to the fantasy title.
September 11, 200818 yr Although most people are saying your only trading one guy of fantasy value (Boldin), I think Maroney could really step it up for the rest of the season while the Patriots become more of a "balanced" team. I also thi nk Palmer will get it together, so not sure if there's any need to panic. Only Week 1 ;-)

Wouldn't surprise me to see Morris taking the majority of the carries soon.
September 11, 200818 yr What do you all think of this trade (in a league that does require TE's, my QB was Tom Brady (so my current starter is Kurt Warner), and I have decent depth at WR/TE position) I give up Jason Witten and Kurt Warner and get Jay Cutler and Anthony Fasano
September 11, 200818 yr What's the rest of your roster? It's hard to decide if a trade is good or bad for your team without knowing who else you have.

Warner will not start or finish 16 games this year. Cutler might turn the corner and finish in the top 5 of fantasy QB's. Plus Parcells likes Fassano and Pennington can only throw it about as far as the TE goes out for paterns.
September 11, 200818 yr I agree, this is a no brainer. I'd do it, Stewart is a stud I agree 98 and Rocket has the biggest reason why. Plus I would be willing to make a wager that Rodgers finishes in the top 12 for QB's and Palmer does not come close. I doubt he plays 12 games.

I'm giving up some WR depth, which is a concern. Who knows about Maroney? Thoughts? I wouldn't take it. Palmer is going to get it going eventually, I think this week he will. Then Boldin he is still going to put up good numbers, and Maroney should get the ball more now that Brady is hurt. Rogers has only proved himself one game so far, so that would be a gamble. Vincent Jackson is the second best receiver on his team IMO to Chris Chambers. Plus they have LT and Gates. So he will put up decent numbers but not great IMO. Jonathan Stewart will be splitting time all year with Williams. So I think you would be getting the worst of it, with this trade.
September 12, 200818 yr I would think you could get more out of Maroney and Boldin. Who is your backup QB, what is the rest of your roster, and what is your scoring system? In a vacuum I would try to get more out of those two, if not, I would do it.

I don't think you are getting the best end of the deal. Witten should be a beast this year and I don't think there will be a huge difference FANTASY wise between Warner and Cutler.
