Ludlows QB Zach Stegemoller suffered a broken wrist yesterday in practice. Things aren't looking good for the Panthers.

 

This is the second season in a row Ludlow's QB has gone down early in the season. How will this affect the Panters? Who is there backup?

I will have to go with the Tigers. Once Ludlow adjusts to stop the run, Wills will start connecting with his receivers in the graceland

Well going by the poll Bellevue is the heavy favorite for the game. This series has been a very good series over the last 5 years. Over the last 5 years Ludlow has won 3 games and Bellevue has won 2. Ludlow has won the last 2 times while playing at Bellevue, and are looking to make it 3 in a row at Bellevue. Actually the last 4 games between these two teams the road team has won. The last time a home team has won was in 2003 when Ludlow won 28 to 12. So I know I hope the trend continues and the road team wins again.

This is rather unusual as I always remember Ludlow being a very tough to get a win and Im sure the Panthers felt the same about traveling to Gilligan Stadium. I am still going with the Tigers in their first home game on their new Beautiful field.

 

They are honoring some members of the hall of fame I think as well. Congrats to everyone on that list as this should bring a nice crowd.

Thanks and your welcome. Your right usually in this series it is very hard to get a win on the road. However the last 4 years the road team has won. I know the last time games at Bellevue have been classics and went down to the last play. In 2004 it went to Overtime where Ludlow won by one by stopping Bellevue on their 2 point conversion to win the game. Then in 2006 Ludlow stopped Bellevue on 4 straight downs from inside the 5 with less than one minute to go to hold on to the win. I think this game probably will go down to the wire just like the last two at Bellevue.

 

Bellevue got a new field? I didn't know that, I can't wait to see it then. I sure it will look nice. :thumb:

It is actually Bermuda grass not Ky Bluegrass....it does look very nice from 471 I have been down a few times jogging the track :lol: and it feels like a carpet...I still think Buckler runs crazy in this game and Wills may even throw his first TD of the season

I could actually see Wills throwing 2! I think Ludlow will try to stop the run and Wills will get to show off the arm a bit.

In talks about Ludlow's best runningback, I'd have to say its Ronnie Banks. I know everytime I've ever watched a practice or been to a game, Banks has always worked the hardest. He just seems to have football smarts. While he may not be as fast or as strong the kid has more heart than a lot of other kids of todays high school football.

It will have a huge impact, but I think there backup is a tenth grader. Not for sure though.
