Bowling Green is no slouch, as anyone who saw last year's game can attest to. I think the Purples have a very good RB returning, if I'm not mistaken. Last year I was visiting with some friends at half time. I returned to the field a little late and what did I see but BG's QB executing a beautiful option and going 80 yards for six. Later in the second half, I think BG fell victim to Trinity's superior depth. Trinity is a notoriously slow starter (season not game wise). When you factor in the quality of BG's program (after all they are 5A), the fact that they have a game under their belts and T's proclivity for starting slowly, this game could very well be close. Having said all this, I think T will win by about 2 TD's, and be happy to come away with a W.

This is going to be a tough test for the Rocks. If they stick with the game plan, and execute, they'll win.

According to a preview in this morning's Courier-Journal, projected junior defensive star, Josh Lewis, is no longer on the Trinity team. Although he had not received as much notoriety, many observers felt that Lewis actually performed as well as Whiting. What happened? How much impact will his absence have on the Rock defense? Who is projected to take his place?
