The last 2 wins over SL have seen 1 back for NL take over (Blair four years ago, then Maggard with 3 TDs the year before last). This year, the Jags are running the ball very well, but with a host of backs carrying the load. They MUST keep Bowling and the SL offense off the field and limit their opportunities for any chance at a win. In the last 4 years, SL has never scored more than 27 points against NL. These predictions of scoring 49 against them are a little surprising. In fact the last team to score over 30 in this rivalry was NL the year before last (37). I think SL wins this one, but in a very close matchup.

I agree, SLHS will not score 49 against NLHS because North will control the clock as they often do in this game. I have SLHS putting up 34 on the Jags, only because as South begins to pull away NL will be forced to make some play's via the air, and i'm not sure how that will go for the Jags.

I voted for South Laurel, but I think it will be a close game.

NL can throw the ball around some too. Just did not have too against LC. SL's poor defense will be the difference in the game.

North Laurel will have to do better in the passing game, they only completed 2-9 passes for 37 yds. That's the reason I'll take the CARDS in this one by a score of 34-17.:lol:

North is playing better football than they were last year. Still don't think SL is as good as last year.
