Impressive win by JH to open the season...I think this team will really be strong thruout the season...

Woodford scored on their first offensive play from scrimmage. After that all Bulldogs, John used a balance attack to keep Woodford on there heels. Not sure of the stats but I would guess John out gained Woodford 5 to 1. Good win for the Bulldogs and a bright future for Woodford County.

Wow, did not think Woodford would get blown out like that. JH must really be tough.

I agree...JH looks like they're going to be a beast this year...There's still a long, long ways to go and things could happen, but, JH could very well end up in the Ville when alls said and done...

Chuck Jones from the News Enterprise said they had 555 yards rushing and 97 yards passing. A total of 652 yards. Woodford had approx. 200 yards. 60 on one play and a bunch against the reserves.

I think Woodford might be just a little down this season. Still should have a winning record and might host a playoff game, but maybe not a team as good as they've had the last couple of years.

I heard that Woodford lost their QB early in the 1st half? If that is true, then I would think it may have been a bit more competative?

Woodford's QB Duckworth went out with a twisted ankle and as the game was getting away, they didn't risk putting him back in. WC lost a lot of defense and it was apparent, but JH is solid.

I hate to hear that...Duckworth is a great technician back there. I trust he will return next week.

Woodford County is fine, John Hardin is the real deal I am sure that Coach Tracy will get the ship in the right direction next week.
