Not a bad plan though. I find your statement to be naive. I really don't think the goal is to spread democracy. We're trying to spread capitalism. It's not about the politics, it's economics. When we say "freedom", we're actually talking about markets, not people. Much of the aid given to countries in crisis comes with pretty big strings attached.

Sorry to be the one who has to break it to you, but Democracy does not equal Capitalism. And I haven't seen where any real democracies have been set up.
