I always tell my daughter that you ALWAYS go hard into the wall. I tell her it if you smack your hand, it hurts for a second, if you lose, it hurts forever. That race was a perfect example of always going hard to the wall!!!!
August 16, 200818 yr I dont think Phelps touched first I didn't think there was any way in heck that he had touched first either. But the underwater shot showed that he was able to swing his arms around to the front as the other guy lunged his arms forward. In what seemed like a violation of the laws of Physics, Phelps' fingers got there first. :eek:
August 16, 200818 yr Cavic extended his arms after his stroke and kicked into the wall. Phelps had one more half stroke and crashed the wall. Cavic will live with that mistake the rest of his life.
