August 10, 200818 yr Our mission went excellent today! I counted 58 bikes plus half a dozen cars in the procession. It was an awesome sight to behold.
August 10, 200818 yr You ain't kiddin...You never realize how much of a toll driving takes on you. A few years back, I went three years straight to Austin for SXSW during Spring Break. Drove every time; twice solo. Completely sapped me on the front and back end each time. Fun times trying to explain to profs why class attendance just wasn't on the agenda the Monday after SB. Still wouldn't change it for anything, and we're thinking about a SXSW trip in 2009, for old time's sake. But I'll still choose a route that bypasses Arkansas. What a freakin' dumpy state.

August 15, 200818 yr ^Same here...Was just over at a friends house and I was asked, "You watch the Olympics?"...I responded with, "I know you've watched the Olympics every day since they've been on...." :lol:
August 15, 200818 yr We essentially have two late niters threads with the Olympics and this. Too bad the Olympics end in a week. :cry: BUT at least we have college football and NFL regular season gearing up here soon. :banana:
