I'm not asking who you want to win. I'm asking who you THINK will be the next POTUS.

Obama, not necessarily for policy reason, rather just because McCain will seem like "more of the same" to most average voters and Democrats will vote heavier this year than in years past.

I think this election really resembles Dole Vs. Clinton in 96

No chance. Dole wasn't running during a war.

Then rephrase, I think the candidates really resemble each other.

I get that. Young charismatic Dem vs old stodgy Republican. I just don't think the results will be nearly the same as far as margin.

It is too close to make a pick.

Obama will sadly be our next president.....

Obama. It is his to lose.

McCain is running a horrible campaign. With the shape of the economy and low approval rating of the presidency, it should be a landslide for Obama, but it is not (which shows he is not a strong candidate, imo). McCain has done a horrible job of separating himself from the current President and pressing Obama on the issues, which I really feel he does not have a firm grip on.

Obama has run a much more effective campaign. He has utilized the media wonderfully and become a relateable face in many American homes. Some of Obama's associations have cost him votes, however (i.e. Wright, Flager, Ayers, etc.).

With all that said the last poll I saw was a one point lead for Sen. Obama.

I feel that McCain will win. This nation will be to scared to vote for Obama, and I am thankful for that.

I agree. I think Obama will implode at some point during the campaign and McCain will squeak out a victory. ---At least that is what I am hoping. Not because I think McCain is so great, but because I think Obama is so dangerous and inexperienced.

People will not vote for Obama despite what they say.

McCain will win and everyone will act like its a big surprise, knowing in their heart they did not vote for him.
