I agree. I luckily live in the nky area so NKU is just 5 mins away from my house.

 

The SC/Holmes game is on a Sunday so I expect a lot of people from around the state to make the drive up here to watch two of the top teams go at it. Parking and Seating shouldn't be a problem since NKU's arena holds I think over 9,000.

So what will the starting 5 look like then? Williams, Hatton, Zollo, Stenzel, Purvis/Rogers?

At the beginning of the season...depends on how far our football team goes in the playoffs.

 

I see this lineup:

Hatton, Brewer

Stenzel, Zollo, Purvis

( Rogers and Williams play football)

 

Later in the season it should be:

Willimas, Hatton

Stenzel, Zollo and at this point Rogers and Purvis is a toss up.

 

Travis had a great summer with AAU and Morehead State has already made him a offer. He has grown over the summer and will really suprise alot of people this year.

I agree. Having to beat two of the top 3 teams in the state in one week will be a tall order.

The Scott County website says it will be held on Thursday the 18th at Scott Co. On the 16th they play at Dunbar and on the 20th they will be in South Carolina. So the date is pretty much set. As for the location who knows? In a six day stretch they play Holmes, Dunbar, and GRC.

No doubt. And it is eerily similar to what you have do in order to win the 7th region or LIT. Except you have to beat 3 top 10 teams in 4 days.

With holmes returners and new addition there is no one up north that can stop them. The only team comparable to them Scott Co. all star team with pharras, dakota, chad, and guinn unless they implode it might just be over

If Holmes has an off night, there are definetly several teams in nky that could take them down. See the NCC game last year.

 

Now if Holmes plays like they should, nobody in nky should be within 10 points of them. Boone is good but a somewhat distant 2nd in the 9th IMO.

High school basketball in Kentucky is just like college football in my opinion. Anyone can lose a game on any given night. That being said these two teams may go undefeated but not likely. You can have all the talent in the world and still get beat.

I agree with your "anyone can lose a game on any given night' but it will be IMPOSSIBLE for both of these teams to go undefeated since they play eachother Dec. 14th.
