Petrino used Louisville for what they are, a stepping stone. He had a good run there but I'm afraid for the Cardinals sake, it was a flash in the pan. They got two very talented kids from the city and were able to build on that. Kragthorpe being more straight lined, will not settle for "as many" partial qualifiers, Juco's, and will definitely be more strict on the hardened criminals.

Also do youself a favor and add up the number of Juco Petrino got and compare it to Kragthorpe, then add up the number of partial qualifiers Petrino used during his tenure and come back to the board with your information.

IMO Arkansas and Louisville could not have less to do with each other.

 

I just drove through both of them to get to Texas, so there's one thing.

I have not talked to one single person that even cares about the Arkansas Razorbacks, much less thought about them enough to hate them. I can understand Petrino hatred (I for one don't care, but I can understand it.).

 

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of hate to go around in Louisville (see: Kentucky, West Virginia, Cincinnati, et al.), I just don't see ANY of it being directed at Arkansas.

I have generally always rooted for Arkansas. I will not dis-continue that fanship. I will be very, very interested to see what happens to the program when he leaves in 3-4 years to go coach Jones' Dallas Cowboys.

But Lexington loves Arkansas because John Pelphrey coaches there....and the fact that L'Ville hates them. (LOL)

I don't hate Petrino or Arkansas. I wish them both the best.

 

Just think it's funny when coaches speak at times..they really have no idea how truly foolish they sound at times.
