Is it a given he will be out? I thought it was still up in the air as to his status.

I am not sure he is out, I was told that his cast is off. I would still keep him out for a couple of games tho, but I am not the coach.

Be careful, Murray will be better than everyone expects. Not to mention Calloway has several key injuries.

Murray will try to control the clock with their ground game. They air attack is very suspect and it looks like they've settle on wishbone in their scrimmages. The best way to keep Calloway's high-powered offense in check is keep them off the field. Murray has a big line, but the heat will be a factor. The local media is calling Brockman's status game-time decision. If he plays, Calloway wins. Murray will be better than most think. Calloway does have two other important starters out for another week or two, which could keep the game close - in the 1-2 TD range. Good luck to both this season.

Brockman was supposed to see the doctor again today for another X-Ray and after that a determination will be made on whether or not he will play Friday night against Murray.

Yeah, the paper still had him listed as a game time decision. I would guess he will make an attempt.

 

Putting the rivalry aside, this game really means nothing in the scheme of things and it is not worth potentially harming your season by going back out there not 100% healthy tonight.
