I asked MrRk just yesterday and our way back from Lexington if Paul Harvey was still alive. I loved listening to him and as BF said, he sure does talk slow, but I so enjoyed him. I will have to find a station that he's on and listen to him again.

 

You can listen on the web at http://www.paulharvey.com. All of the current week's broadcasts are there but since the illness and subsequent death of his wife, Angel, he seems to be leaving the microphone to a guest commentator more and more. He began his career in 1933 and is well into his 80s.

I love him....he brings back great memories of my childhood. On the way to grandma's, dad used to always have him on. Mom and dad in the front seat, me in the back laying down. I loved it!!!

Paul was the highlight of my school day one year. That right, school day!

 

Mr Passafiume always had the radio on (background noise) during mechanical drawing class at St X. We would all say "Good Day" together, which was kinda funny at the time I thought.

 

Anyone else have mechanical drawing class that same period?
