And for the record, I don't believe all life's are "worth" the same just as our legal system says they aren't. If a 20-something man gets hurt at work rendering him disabled, he gets a much larger settlement than the 50 year old with the same injury in most cases.

All I'm saying is that the "pro-life" movement has engaged in hijacking of the English language. If you say you are "pro-life" but support the death penalty, you're wrong. Period. I'm not going to spend the time making distinctions on a person-to-person basis.

I don't see how the two can be compared. Prostitution is just that and needs no explanation as to what it is . Only if someone would be infected with aids or another STD of some kind and die of it and even in that event prostitution imo would be suicide in that (to visit a prostitute) is a choice and wouldn't become what abortion is..................

Abortion is Murder, plain and simple, the unborn baby has no "choice" so I really don't even see how they phrase abortion as a "right to choose".

Absolutely, JS's views have challenged my view on this matter.

 

BUT, I still have not gotten to the point that I clearly think it is a conflict.

 

The criminal, knowingly and willfully, gave up his right to have his life protected by breaking a rule that this society has. It was his choice and is more along the lines of a suicide than an abortion.

It's called being young, alone, poor and hungry. They find someone who pretends to care for them and convinces them that the way to survive is to become a prostitute. It's a choice for some prostitutes, but it's not a choice for all prostitutes.

Your last statement is MORE reason to not legalize it. You want to legalize something that is a result of rapes and molestation??? Couldn't think of a better reason to not legalize it. Provide better free counseling? Absolutely.
