Lou Central's Cobble verbals to UK

One UL site has some people saying that Ridge Wilson is coming to UK as well.

I am very critical of my praise for D-1 High School Recruits... but I have no uncertainty saying this guy will be an excellent college player. Strong, fast, aggressive, reads plays well... everything you could want out of a DT.

A good motor makes up for alot of things. I don't see being 6'0 much of an obstacle to overcome.

Congrats Mister Cobble. I think he will be a very good player at UK. I think he also was a very good wrestler and may have thrown the shot as well.

Patterson, the junior, is the real stud on that team.

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN! He is an unbelievably talented played. I think schools will start knocking his door down this season. Definitely would love to see him in blue and white.

No word of this on rivals, whats with the delay?

Rivals appears to be witing for an intervuew so they can post a proper write up and have been having trouble getting hold of the kid. All indications is that it is 100% official though.

The rumor is that teammate Ridge Wilson will be following shortly thereafter.

Been a rough recruiting season thusfar for UL with athletes from inside Watterson. The top rated LB and DB both committ to OSU, and now the player I expect to eb the top rated DT goes to UK with possibly the 2nd rated LB as well.

The Cats have already offered Patterson, and having Cobble and hopefully Wilson can only help in landing him next year.

The article has been posted on rivals!

What is the lowdown on him?

I assume you mean Patterson, who plays linebacker as well as forward for the basketball team. Tim Patterson (6-5, 225) could be emerging as the most sought-after player in the Bluegrass State for 2010. He's added an inch and almost 15 pounds to his frame since the end of last season, when he led the Yellowjackets with 125 tackles.

"He's becoming a monster," Scroggins said. "He's going to be huge."

Gonna look real good in Blue and White too Rockpride!

Let me dispell what I believe to be a couple of myths. Cobble is not 6'0 he is 6'1 1/2" easily. He is bigger than McKinney. He was a bigger disruption than Brandon Newman who signed with ND. I haven't heard it from Wilson himself but I have heard coach Scroggins say that if/when Wilson gets an offer from Tennesse he will commit. Patterson has the potential to be the biggest recruit of the 3. He has no ceiling and will be a flat out monster by the time he is a senior. I believe he is at this point a heavy UofL lean so it will be their own fault if they don't get him and from what I hear they have yet to make it down to Central instead waiting for them to make it up to campus. 2 other seniors Jordan Tennyson (DE) and William Lancaster (ATH) could play themselves into D1 offers.
