Let's just say I subscribe to a darker, "fate worse than death," type mentality in his case. Break him, destroy him, make him a shell. A hollow, empty fearful shell that weeps nightly terrified of everything while soaking in his own urine. A man that screams in the night from the constant terrors we have managed to slowly impant into his mind. Killing him is just too easy.
