Correct. They got the rights to him from the Lakers in the "Gasol" trade.

I really haven't heard anything about him really. How is he compared to his brother?

A lot more raw at the time but they said he was coming along very well and had a skill set similar to his brothers just not as athletic. He plays a little more physical as well. He is probably still 2 years away.

He's bigger than Pau & plays with his back to the basket more so than Pau. About all I know.

Well if he is taller, more physical, and plays with his back to the basket more, than I think he might turn out to be a rather talented player.

Pau is 7-0, 250 lbs

Marc is 7-1, 280 lbs

Pau is miles beyond him in terms of athletic ability and running the floor.

Brand was on Mike and Mike this morning and said the move had more to do with options than the overall amount. I agree with all the above stated about the brothers Gasol, two different styles, Marc is more of a true post player. My question is "how big are their parents?"

Report: Lakers approach Kings about Artest

The Lakers' toughness was repeatedly called into question during their NBA Finals loss to the Celtics. According to one report, they may think Ron Artest is the answer to that problem.

The Sacramento Bee reports that the Los Angeles Lakers recently called the Kings regarding the availability of the All-Star forward, citing an NBA source. According to the paper, Lamar Odom was believed to be offered in return.

As of Tuesday evening, the Kings had not yet responded to the offer. Of course, Kings president Geoff Petrie declined to confirm whether the offer even existed.

"Right now, (Artest is) just a terrific player to have on your roster," Petrie said. "I don't really have any speculation one way or another (about his future). We'll see what other things — not specific to Ron — but if there's some other way we can improve the team or change the team, we'll take a look at it."

The Kings would need to include another player to make the salaries match up in a Odom-for-Artest deal.

Big shock there. Lamar Odom trade rumors? Thats only happend the last 6 years.

Instead of going after Artest, the Lakers should try to sign James Posey. He is a winner.

They need someoe else besides Kobe that can guard the other teams best player. Artest is a way better fit in the Triangle as well.

Turiaf will end up siging with the Warriors for 17 Mil over 4 years. No way the Lakers match that. I like him and am happy to see him get paid like that. He is a great story.

I don't know if Turiaf will take the money. I could see him resigning in LA just because he likes it there and enjoys playing with that team.

He is a player that I just don't see being all about the money.
