I guess not. Regardless of your political beliefs, I thought it was rather amusing. It is used by staunch Clinton supporters who feel she was treated unfairly during the primary process. PUMA is an acronym for Party Unity My A..... Some members say they will vote McCain, some will stay home, all will protest by not voting for Obama. This is what many in the party have been concerned about and why party unity has been such and issue.

Had the Democrats not nominated the most liberal candidate in history, I would agree with the historians. If McCain was not so busy trying to move to Obama's left, the race would be his to lose.

Hardly an objective view of the race ... not especially accurate, either.

Neither did I. I think it's probably so miniscule that it can't really have much influence on the election.

I'm still hoping the Dems make a substitution and bring Gore in. I could almost stomach him.

If you are going to hope for a substitute, you might as well wish for Sam Nunn, Zell Miller, or Joe Lieberman. If I could afford to move to Ireland or Australia if Gore or Obama are ever elected, then I would make the pledge.

You are reading the same thing I'm reading. I don't know if he will raise taxes for the rich, but it appears he wants to cut taxes for people making under $75K. Not necessarily all "poor" people.

Obama is the same old liberal politics, though. So, what exactly will be different, other than even higher taxes?

So I was right, higher taxes and add to that socialist programs. Sounds just peachy.

The reason I asked is a little above 75K for a family really isn't much these days and would nail most middle class families.
