Looks like turnovers was the factor in this game.

 

INDIANA BENEFITS FROM 29 TURNOVERS

 

 

 

Hopson had 14 points and five rebounds, but turned the ball over six times. Miller, who is headed to the University of Kentucky, had 11 points and four rebounds, but turned the ball over five times.

Northern Ky well represented with Corey Sorrell & Arrez Henderson. Sorrell started and played 26 minutes. Only Miller & Mack played more. He also led the team with 7 rebounds. Henderson played 18 minutes and had 3 assists.

Good to hear both Henderson and Sorrell played well. Sorrell has been very underrated heading in to these all star games IMO.

How does Hopson only play 19 minutes and Sorrell plays 26?

 

Hopson was not in foul trouble (only had 2) and was second in scoring. IMO: He should play as much or more than any player KY has.

Scotty actually had a terrible game and the box score does not show it. Trust me I'm from Hoptown and a Scotty fan but, he did not play well at all. It seems like he turned the ball over every other time that he touched it. Mack was the best player on the court for us last nite. We should have won this game, without the turnovers we were the best team on the court.

What's your knock on Sorrell? Looks like he had a productive 26 minutes to me, why single him out?

 

As for Hopson, he had six turnovers in 18 minutes, no coach would keep playing a kid who's giving the ball away like that.
