NBA Finals MVP

Featured Replies

If the finals ended right now, who would take the MVP honors?

If it ended right now I'd give it to Allen by a nose over Pierce--but it isn't over yet.

I give it to Pierce because of his offense but also his amazing defense against Kobe.

Paul Pierce

Slight edge to The Truth over Ray Allen...

Right now, Allen over Pierce...Allen is even averaging more points than Pierce.

I predict Pierce!

I say Pierce also. I am hoping that when it's all said and done I'll be able to say my boy KG!

Pierce will get it if they win next game, the longer it goes the more people that have a shot.

I would pick Allen with Pierce a close second, but I think with Pierce playing hurt and doing well makes him the favorite. imo

they would probably give it to Pierce but honestly it should go to Allen or the Celtics bench as a whole.

I thought Garnett before it started, but now he is pretty much out. I agree it is down to Pierce and Allen. I would much rather see Allen get it and according to the numbers as well as defense he probably deserves it...but Pierce will get it for sure...makes a better story for the media.

If Garnett has a big game in the last game of the series, it would not surprise me to see them give tri-MVP's to Garnett, Peirce and Allen. They have been tied together all year, and all three as a group are why the Celts went from 24 wins to the NBA Finals.
