Yeah actually I do...The Reds will NOT continue having a decent streak. They are usually good till around the all-star break then falter. The Braves on the other hand usually stick around until the end. The Braves have a better manager and a better front office, they are willing to do what it takes to win, unlike the Reds. You said both teams are done for 2008, may I ask why?

 

The Braves currently sit 3.5 back of 1st place, man they might as well pack it in, forefeit the rest of the season...I've never seen ANY team comeback from a 3.5 GB deficiet 2 months into the season.

And you're going to pretend that a good home team playing at home and a bad road team playing on the road has nothing to do with it?

Alright...Bottom line, Hudson could have rephrased what he said but should not be labeled a sore loser for saying it. It was not a cheap shot, and really only could be considered a cheap shot at a proven pitcher.

It was a derogatory comment aimed at the opposing pitcher. Whether the player is proven or not doesn't really change the message. It may have been said in frustration, it may have been said for whatever reason, but it's still a cheap shot whether he meant it to be or not. I don't think he's a sore loser, I think he spoke his mind whether it was tactful or not.
