May 28, 200818 yr Author Firefall has played at the Fort Thomas Music Festival a couple times over the past few years. If they are going to appear anywhere in the vicinity again, let me know. Would love to take in their show. I love their ditty entitled "Cinderella," a highly controversial tune at the time. It had feminists outraged.
May 28, 200818 yr Author Here's a fairly recent live performance of Firefall doing my favorite, "Cinderella."
May 29, 200818 yr Author I loathe the Eagles. :creepy: Maybe you stay too "Busy Being Fabulous" to fully appreciate their offerings. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Q3ECu5wn_8

May 29, 200818 yr Author Here's a classic Firefall tune with a video that my Christian friends will duly appreciate.I dedicate this one to you guys. Firefall with "Just Remember I Love You" :
May 29, 200818 yr We were recently on a car trip listening to a satellite 70's station. It was fun because we were trying to "guess the artist". I was amazed at how many one hit wonders there were back then, and how many bands we had forgotton. It was a great trip down memory lane.

May 29, 200818 yr I love Steely Dan...The Aja album is still one of my all time favorites (reminds me of the frat house on Saturday night :scared:).
May 29, 200818 yr I loathe the Eagles. :creepy: :thumb: Those low-rent clowns got all the popularity (and commensurate $$$) that should have gone to the bands they ripped off, such as Poco and The Flying Burrito Brothers.
May 29, 200818 yr I remember them all very well, Steely Dan and ELO are the best of the list. Do you remember Savoy Brown? Another great band from the '70's. :thumb: "Lonesome' Dave of Foghat started out with them, didn't he?
May 29, 200818 yr Steely Dan is still great. Their 2000 release "Two Against Nature" was outstanding, and "Everything Must Go" (2003) isn't bad either. I first started listening to them by way of my uncle's copies of "Aja" and "Pretzel Logic." ELO has always been outstanding, IMO. One of my favorite tunes by them was "Rock'n'Roll Is King," which was used by the Rock'n'Roll Express for their entrance music. Never cared much for Firefall, but would give my uncle's Pablo Cruise albums a spin from time to time.

All bands are influenced by other bands that came before them.
