May 25, 200818 yr Wow. That is pitiful. And I believe the editor should be fired for such poor taste. :thumb:, no matter which canidate was on the cover, that is classless.
May 25, 200818 yr Maybe with the health issues of Ted Kennedy and all of the tragedies that has befallen the Kennedy family that is the reason she felt the need to apologize. For people Hillary's age who were politically active, RFK's assassination was one of those events that become etched in your memory. I have no idea whether Hillary made the reference as an attempt to subtly suggest that Obama might not make it to the convention. However, Obama and his staff could have taken the high road and assumed (at least publicly) that 1968 just came to mind because the date was etched into Hillary's mind because of the tragedy. Obama has the nomination all but wrapped up. He needs to begin acting the part by placing himself above the Democratic fray and focusing on the general election and McCain. Continuing petty squabbling with Hillary maintains her viability a little bit longer. I agree with you 100% about the magazine cover. There was no mistaking the intent of that front cover.

Oberman's tough. I've not seen him go off like that since he went nuts in one of his tirades against Bush.

I heard Obama yesterday say that Hillary has apologized so now it is time to move on. I turned 10 years old a couple of days after Robert Kennedy's assassination. I remember it quite well because we were still in school in St. Louis and we listened to his funeral on the radio.
