May 17, 200818 yr It's actually very fair for him to say it. He had meetings with them when they brought in Van Gundy, he asked what his role would be, he got an answer he liked, and it never came to fruition. He's far and away the best shooter on the team, and day in and day out, outworks others in practice, both have been noted in Orlando periodicals over the last 12 months. I agree, play him or trade him, don't let him rot on the bench. :cry::cry::cry:

Redick is a great shooter, a very hard worker, and could be a great fit for many teams if given the opportunity. There have been some players with fall less talent have great NBA careers when put in the right situation. I don't blame Redick at all. I hope some way gives him a chance to show what he can do.

I would say it about any 2 year player in the NBA. You have no right or reason to say that when you have been riding the pine for 2 years. There is a reason you aren't playing its not just that they don't like you.

He, probably like Morrison just doesn't have a game that doesnt equate to NBA stardom. That said, he has plenty of game to average around 15 ppg, and I will say he's a top five shooter in the NBA.

Yeah, but he has a really hard time with layups though.:laugh: He is just too 1 dimensional. Kyle Korver plays the role of a shooter, but he is more athletic and can do more than Redick.

Hate to break it to him but the competition in the NBA is a little tighter. :thumb: Imo Reddick is dang lucky to be in the NBA, Great college shooter...yes and well, that's it. JMO Sort of my thoughts. While I hope JJ proves me wrong, he has very little leverage with the Magic. Or anyone else for that matter. I believe that his next stop may just be as a assistant on the Duke bench beside little Wo Jo that is beside Coach K. He would have job security there. those who "K"ry together, stay together.

He may work hard and shoot well, but a lot of guys do in the NBA. He hasn't been a consistent starter or a major contributor at any time during his career in the NBA. He has no reason to say things like that. This will get him looked down upon by many of his peers.
