April 22, 200818 yr I enjoy have Manny on my fantasy team quite a bit. I remember one time when a batter charged the mound on Farnsworth. It turned out that Farnsworth was a linebacker in high school and he basically speared the batter and beat the crap out of him. Anyone else remember that?

How as a major league pitcher do you say it slipped when you still threw it at 97mph and at the spot you aim when trying to hit someone? 1, the spot you aim to hit someone is not in the neck (career and life threatening) 2, Pitchers can have baseballs to slip the same way football players have balls slip and basketball players have shots or passes slip. It's part of the release, when the ball is coming out it can slip. However I doubt it did slip and he probably threw at him intentionally.

I understand what you meant by a ball not slipping but the way it came across was that a ball can not slip because he is a pitcher and has better control than that. I agree with you though!:thumb:
