Another Star Wars Question

Do you believe that the character that Samual Jackson played was actually stronger than Yoda?

I know what I think but I would like to hear others.

I do wish that character would have been explored more.

I would love to see a movie, series or something that explores the other Jedi. I think there could be an interesting movie there that explores the nature of the Jedi and the characters of Qui Gon, Yoda, Samual Jackson, Kitfitso (sp?)

What's your basis for this? I just kind of see them as equals, powers-wise.

It was said in many books that Mace Windu's saber skills. They were on par and in most instances better than Yoda's. His saber technique was stuff of legend in the Star Wars universe. But, when it comes to their connection with the force. As far as force ability, Yoda wins hands down every time.

Where does Yoda stand in relation to the force with Anakin/Darth, Obiwan, Luke?

Yoda was a Grand Master Jedi. Mace Windu was a Master Jedi.

Yoda was more powerful but Mace Windu was the better saber fighter according to the character analysis I found. It also says that Windu has a fighting style that is a fine line between good and the Dark side. He has a very aggressive style. Yoda is more powerful when it comes to purely using the force, if that makes sense.

I am watching Return of the Jedi right now. Another question I have is why Luke's new saber is green instead of the blue one he lost in the previous movie?

Also, keep in mind that Windu was powerful enough to defeat Darth Sidius (the Emperor), but he was betrayed by Anakin.

Mace was able to single handily take on the Emperor and without Anakin's interference had defeated him. Yoda at best fought the Emperor to a draw and that is giving Yoda a lot of credit because he always seemed to be off balance. I agree Yoda is stronger with the force but Mace was the true butt kicker in the SW sixology.

The color of the lightsaber depends on the type of crystals used to make the lightsaber.

Is there any special significance to why he chose green?

Also, I heard George Lucas say that he made the decision that bad guys would have red sabers and good guys would have green or blue sabers.

Luke's lightsaber was colored blue. However, against the desert blue sky environment, the decision was made to change it to green for a better visual effect, hence the birth of the green lightsaber.

Red was always associated with the Sith and Dark Forces. In a rare move, Lucas granted Jackson his request to carry a purple lightsaber.

This is the dorkiest thread ever.

But I say they're on par with each other. ;)

Are you saying I"m a dork because I've watched the original Star Wars IV 77 times?

I've probably watched it around that many times, too.

But if you read this thread objectively, it's pretty lame.
