Stepp was 3rd team All-Mountain and rated 6th player in the 14th Region by the coaches, so how was he first team All-State?

Adair Co. Kalen Kimberland should be second team All State. He Dropped 35 aginst Centeral Hardin in the 5th region semis. While Ballou only scored 8. Ballou has the size advantage but I think Kimberland is athletically better.

 

So one 35-point effort makes him Second Team All-State?

Again though I don't see how Nic Simpson of Highlands got honorable mention and not Greg Mcgraw. Mcgraw dropped 30 + several times including against Holmes, while also averaging 20 a game.

 

Simpson missed half the season with an injury. Can't say I agree with Simpson's selection.

 

Im with ya Eta Rho. Nic is a very good player but Greg outshined him this season and definitely deserved atleast Honorable Mention.

I agree. Maybe had Nic played the whole season he might have had an argument but even with the time he and Mcgraw played together, I still felt Mcgraw was the better player of the two and had a much better game.

 

It's a shame he didn't get recognized for playing the way he did this year.
