How will they fair in the playoffs? I don't agree with the win over Letcher.

I think they could quite possibly end up in the same place they ended last year. The Letcher game is a stretch, I know, but I felt like we should have beat them last year.

Wow! Looks like the GC program has got some life in it again. I just got back onto BGP for the fall football info and it is great to see the interest is back for the Muskies. I know they are still using the Tony Franklin spread system, but it seemed like their late surge last season came when they started running the ball.

That is the truth of it, but when you have a quick back like Stepenson was last year, the system works awesome on the ground. Spread em out and pick a hole to run through. If this would have happened all year, that win/lose record last year would have been alot better also.

I have noticed that most teams, when changing to the Franklin System, the first year is a trial and error period. Most teams use the first year to get used to the system. They are normally a lot more proficient at it the second season.

I hope GC has a great season, minus that first game of course. There's too much pride and traditon surrounding that program to settle for anything less.
