April 14, 200818 yr Honestly, anyone on here know what affect this could've had on the foundation of the stadium, if any? If it really couldn't do anything to the stadium in the future, it's freakin hilarious. If it could, I'm pretty sure a construction worker should know that. I seriously doubt it would have had any effect on the foundation, but a construction worker probably wouldn't know one way or another. I mean he's not a engineer.
April 14, 200818 yr Some fabric in pounds of concrete? No way could that hurt anything. Joba Chamberlain is such a freak about curses, though, he probably wouldn't step foot in the new stadium if they left it there!

April 14, 200818 yr Since the Yankees have made such a big issue of this, the guy should tell them he's also buried 3 more Red Sox shirts at undisclosed locations in the stadium, and threw in a Mets shirt for an additional curse. They'd probably implode the structure and start all over.

I just think the whole thing is hilarious. Now, if there was intent to damage the stucture or if this would have somehow damaged the structue then it is another story but like I said, I seriously doubt where any "damage" intent was present. Imo the City of Boston should honor this guy and even make him a honorary team member, season tickets or something . There was a post above that I had wondered the same thing............why did he tell it now? Had that clown waited untill the stadium was complete and had not even given a location, just that he buried it "somewhere" below the stadium this may have been much better. Now what it amounts to is that this guy got his 15minutes of fame and although I am a Yankee fan, I must say that this was a good one :lol:.

Much like Jerry, the Yankee folks would be freaking out.:scared:
