April 17, 200818 yr How about swapping CJ for the Chiefs 5th pick. That is a lock on one of the tackle's. I'd then guage who I could get at 9. If it's not somebody solid I would trade back a few spots. I'd love to see them move Rudi and Chad then get a DT + J. Stewart. They can get a very quality WR or 2 in the 2nd+3rd round. I wonder if the Lions would listen to a deal Rudi J for R. Williams. They are wanting to go to more of a power offense in Det.

Chiefs want Matt Ryan or a top flight O-Lineman and they got a promising receiver last year in Bowe. Now, they want to trade Jared allen for draft picks, but it could be possible they'd listen to a Chad for Allen deal. And no way the Lions trade a top flight receiver for a back coming off a down year. As bad as Matt Millen is, he is not that dumb.

Jared allen is a person who has had legal issues, I think Cincy needs to for high character people for once.

It would be unprecedented for someone to trade a top ten pick for someone like Chad. And you say trade back from 9 like there are a lot of people wanting to jump up to that slot... Rudi and what else for Williams...
April 18, 200818 yr I can imagine TO and Ocho-Cinco destroying opposing secondaries and shredding defenses!!! It would be an athletic treat to see the two of them line up together! Chad & TO would not make it through the season together. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm not a Dallas fan so I would love to see it.

Just about every team in the NFL would rather trade back then trade up. There are A LOT of teams IMO that would trade their number 1 pick for CJ. Think about it you can go throw a lot of money at somebody unproven or you can throw it at a cry baby that is a top 5 WR in the NFL (or at least close). There are a lot of folks that would be happy with CJ as their 1st round pick. I think the Bengals can get Ellis where they are sitting unless somebody decides to trade up in front of them. I think they could get him. I wish they could work out a way to swap their #2 and Rudi for a shot at J. Stewart. There are a lot of good WR's in this draft that all have a ? beside of them. I think Cincy could get one in the 2nd or 3rd if they wanted too.
April 19, 200818 yr I would also swap CJ for J. Allen in a heartbeat! Bet Levi would be in favor of this!
April 21, 200818 yr Levi will be looking forward to the rematch at the end of '08, and the result will be different!
April 22, 200818 yr Just saw a mock that had the Bengals trading Chad to the Cowboys for the #22 pick, a second rounder next year, and Roy Williams. I'm not in favor of giving Chad what he wants but something like that would be a heckuva offer...
April 22, 200818 yr I wouldn't want Roy Williams after seeing him lose 1/2 of Dallas games last year. I've heard Dallas might offer a 1st this year and a 1st next.
