April 11, 200818 yr Just saw this on another site. I turned on the radio in the car about 12pm today and they were playing the replay of a show from Monday, which I found weird because it was Thursday and they arent off until Friday. You can find the audio on youtube but I can't link them here. If this sticks its a big hit for the Stern show. Artie was a lot of people's favorite part of the show.
April 11, 200818 yr Author He got in a big argument with his assistant in the hallway at one of the breaks and apparently Howard got them to bring it into the studio. It escalates and Artie throws something at Teddy and goes after him. They stop them and Artie comes back and is talking with Howard. Howard tells him that if he cant keep from doing stuff like that (throwing stuff) he cant let him back and Artie says he cant guarantee it. That goes back and forth for a few minutes and Artie says he has to resign then. He wasnt happy with the position Howard was taking and keeps saying it and Howard says then he will accept it. I dont know if that will be the end of things and it sounds like the heat of the moment. I wouldnt be surprised to see Artie back, but I wouldnt be surprised if he was gone either. Guess we will find out in about a week and half because apparently they are on vacation next week. There are links all over the net and like I said you can hear it all on youtube because that was pretty brief. It was probably a 20 or 30 minute ordeal.
April 11, 200818 yr Wow... I just listened to the clip. Artie really does have some personal issues that he needs to get straightened out.

April 11, 200818 yr I have never really listened to or enjoyed the Howard Stern show, but did sit through all 27 minutes of this ordeal. Then I went and read up Artie's past and after I read that, I wasn't surprised at his behavior on the air. Pretty unbelievable regardless.
April 11, 200818 yr IMO,It's staged. This is the oldest trick in radio. And mysteriously ALWAYS happens right before a vacation, shocking! LOL

April 11, 200818 yr That's cute. Perhaps you should say you speculate that its staged if you have no facts.:thumb:

Clearly im speculating, this is one of the oldest tricks in radio and somehow mysteriously ALWAYS happens right before a vacation. If it's not it's not, but the circumstances are there.

If it's not it's not, but the circumstances are there. There has never been a time when the show was pulled from the air and no report was given on the website. I'm going to have to say that this one is real.
