April 13, 200818 yr See how man guys make that drive in 100 hit 40 Hr walk 100 times and score 100 runs. Find that and see how much those guys make? That would be impossible. He's the only one.
April 13, 200818 yr That would be impossible. He's the only one. He was the only one that did it last year.:thumb:
April 13, 200818 yr Author Why is Votto AND Hatteburg not in the lineup? Votto has been hitting well and defending great. If anything put Keppy at 3B if you want to play Castro. Votto and Hatte aren't hitting lefties...
April 13, 200818 yr See how man guys make that drive in 100 hit 40 Hr walk 100 times and score 100 runs. Find that and see how much those guys make? He has drove in over 100 runs three times in his career. He leads the league it strike outs nearly every year. He is one of, if not the worse, fielding left fielders in the game. He can't move runners via the bunt or sac fly. That doesn't outweigh the other stat's, for the money he is making. Like I said before, nearly in marginal power hitter will hit over 30 homers and drive in 100 runs in GABP.

I said any marginal power hitter... how many homers did BP have before Cincy. Griffey has never had the at-bats to do it. Who are the other power hitters???? Hatteburg, Gonzo, Freel, Sean Casey, Kearns? Heck, David Ross even hit 20 homers in GABP. It is a power hitters dream. Look at what opp. do there. Look at what the Reds do as a team. Top three in HR's every year, without power hitters.

You don't like Dunn. Fine. But don't spew falsehoods to defend it...
April 13, 200818 yr Today's game is in HD, also. Looking forward to being able to watch Cueto pitch...hopefully.
April 13, 200818 yr BP and Junior each hit 13 of 30 away from GASP, so there goes the ballpark argument. Are Josh Hamilton and Wily Mo "marginal power hitters"? You don't like Dunn. Fine. But don't spew falsehoods to defend it... Did Hamilton and Pena play a full season? How many HR's have those two have before they were a Red, or since then? So they hit 17 of 30 at GABP. I think that is more. It seems like you don't think GABP is HR friendly. You better look that stat up.

It seems like you don't think GABP is HR friendly. You better look that stat up. You are making claims the numbers simply don't back up. Dunn is the ONLY player to drive in 100 in a season at GASP, and also the only player to top 40 HRs. Would you call Junior a marginal power hitter? He hasn't done either. Your claim isn't backed up by facts. Plain and simple. Next...
