So I know of a Kentucky vs Ohio game, and Kentucky vs Indiana game, but what about Kentucky vs WV and/or Kentucky vs Tennessee?

And what other All Star games are there in KY for Seniors?

Just checked the website roster and noticed Behrens of Boone and Bowling of Beechwood added.

Cassidi Spurlock has been added to the Kentucky roster and Scott Tackett as an assistant coach.

Ohio-Kentucky all-star game ...

 

Boone County senior forward Katie Behrens and Beechwood guard Sam Bowling have been added to the Kentucky roster. Bowling was added after another player dropped out of the game. According to Boone County coach Nell Fookes, Behrens wasn't initially invited because tournament organizers throught she was a junior.

 

The girls' game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Thomas More. The boys' game is slated to start at 7:30 p.m.

Did Katie play in the East/West game during the Ky state tourney? If she did she better be careful because if she plays in this one and the other that is her two all star games before grad. She has been invited to tryout for the KY/IN game, so when is that, after or before June 1st?

 

I was under the impression that is why some of the other top players are not in this game due to already playing in the all star game during state and the possibility of playing in the KY/IN game.

Last I heard with Novosel of Lex Cath, she is nursing an injury suffered during the season so this is the reason why she will most likely not be playing in any of these games right now. As great as it is to represent your state, I'd say with her ride to college at the D-1 level, resting is a good decision right now.

Ohio won 92-86.

 

Was tied at halftime, Kentucky actually comes out and takes a pretty big lead but lets it slip away.

 

Ohio grabs a late lead and what had been a pretty exciting game goes beyond 2 hours while they shoot an ungodly amount of free throws over the last few minutes.

 

Cierra Ricketts, who almost singlehandedly kept Kentucky in it with 23 points (21 in the second half) was Kentucky MVP.

 

Dakeisha Mann, 17/8/5 was Ohio MVP.

 

I'd post a box score but i have some stuff from the first half that doesn't add up and not enough energy to figure it out tonight.

Good game so far. Glad to see Hargett doing well.
