D1 Players in KY

Featured Replies

He is a 6 foot guard for Tates Creek. I watched him play a lot of AAU ball over the summer. He is an excellent scorer and I heard he signed with some D1 school. I'm going blank on the name of the school. I think it might be VMI??? Can anyone help me out here?

Believe he's 6'4, and yes, he's headed to VMI.

He is a 6'4" wing player that played with Shining Star Sports over the summer. His team won the 17u state championship. He is going to VMI to play.

He became the all time leading scorer at Tates Creek High School this year.

Do you have any names of any schools on Morris-MC & Setty-Mason, also heard EKU had contacted Portwood earlier but no offer had been made. What do you know about these kids?

I believe Morris has been offered by about every school in KY (excluding the big 2), and some other OVC schools. I heard Setty was being recruited by NKU, but Gillispie was been spending some time at some Mason County games lately so maybe he is looking at Setty as a potential walk on? I know Portwood was at an EKU game talking to one of the coaches, I saw him there and spoke to his father, but I don't know if an offer has been made or any other details.

I know he is only a Soph. but Blake Bryan from Villa will most likely go D1.

Have you ever watched the young man play?

Have you ever watched the young man play?

I've watched the young man play over 5 times this year. He's a good DIII ball player. He won't go DI. Goes too fast for his own good sometimes and forces things when times get tough. Too many TO's. Gets angry with his own guys occasionally. Good player, flaws in his game...

By the way, have you heard of Arrez Henderson? He is the top player in NKY this year.

Ge'lawn Guyn Scott Co. 2010 6'3 PG being recuited by Wake Forest,Xavier,Western KY, Indiana.

What other schools does Jenkins has offers from? It would be hard to beat that offer from Wisconsin
Iowa, Dayton, Virginia Tech, and others. Will be visiting Notre Dame soon. And has already visited during the past season IU, Butler, WKU, Florida, XU, along with other previous schools mentioned.

Did he win player of the year?

Impressive. Add Jackson and Euton (two more D1 prospects) along with Phares (another D1 prospect) and you have nearly a full starting line-up of division one players. Will anyone challenge this team?

2011 Class, Tony Kimbro Jr and Robbie Stenzel come to mind.
