D1 Players in KY

Take Portwood off the list. He is probably going to end up NAIA after being recruited by EKU and Colorado early in the season.

Impressive. Add Jackson and Euton (two more D1 prospects) along with Phares (another D1 prospect) and you have nearly a full starting line-up of division one players. Will anyone challenge this team?

Tamron Manning could round out that starting five as a freshman. He is a very good prospect to be a D1 player, so that could be 5 on one squad.

Tamron Manning has alot of upside to his game!

I think there is a Jr for Lex Cath who could get some looks, not sure on the name though.

Thank you, I wasn't quite sure on his name.

I was thinking he was only a Soph.

I know he is only a Soph. but Blake Bryan from Villa will most likely go D1.

Why...He was easily the top player in NKY this season.

Are you serious? Bryan wasn't even one of the top 15 players in nky led alone one of the top.

The kid won't be tall enough. If Love isn't getting D1 looks there's no way Bryan will. Bryan will be a D3 player if he pursues basketball after high school.

Your credibility, as ESPNGuy said has gone way down after a comment like this.

How tall is Earl Boykins?

There is no comparison there. Very rarely does a kid who plays at a small school like Villa go D1. Corey Pelle was probably the best D3 player to come out of the area in quite some time and he is only playing D2. No comparison between Pelle and Bryan of Villa.

I'd take Michael Romes over Pelle, but Pelle was an extremely good ball player. Dan Pinnick(?) was also a D-3 player.

Even so, where is Romes? At a DIII school. Bryan has no chance at going DI.

Pinnick went to Morehead. As for Romes, he had offers from Morehead also but chose Mt. St. Joe.

Yes, and Bryan isn't the player that Romes is. I thought Romes could have been successful at a higher level but I'm sure he is happy with where he is. I guess I'm just confused at how bringing those players up supports your theory that Bryan is the best player in NKY and a DI talent?
